Right up date on the problems on the mini this week

1. Wrong wheels nuts (need alloy ones)
2. Bodged together engine mount let go along with some of the flywheel housing it was atached to
3. Chunk of alloy wheel torn (when rear wheel came off and got a bit of a tap from another car)
4. Front wheel bearing goosed
5.One of the bolts that attaches the track rod end to the caliper sheared
6. Bonnet catches need a re-think as the bonnet came off in the first heat
7. It looks crap parked on the infield

All in all my season is going great guns so far

1 weld them they wont come off
2 Use steel for engine mount, (not Blackpool Rock)
3 Dont buy them from Grimsby, (its to far to go back and complain)
4 Does your wife know you have been goosing your wheel bearing.
5 Only one, and you are complaining.
6 Old pasties lose their adhesion very quickly.
7 The hanging basket was well pleased

Update - all the bust bits are fixed barring the engine that is running like a bag of spanners but one of the alloys I got is goosed so I will be running 3 13" wheels and a 10" till the wife lets me buy a new one. With a bit of luck my chequered flag will be in the bag a week sunday

Got you a decent carb with a fancy K&N filter on it...........I'm gonna cut a hole in your bulkhead behind the carb so if you break an engine mount or stabiliser again you wont bust the jet off the carb

If you cut a hole in the bulkhead you will need to box it because the bulkhead is supposed to be sealed to act as a firewall. The regs state the speedo hole must be sealed
