#464 :P
well done the final preperation to the mini for 2010 ..
everythings working & running ... and the shell is now fastend down
just got the little ( attention to detail ) parts to do but is race worthy as it stands
1. Roof fin to make
2. eventually pruchase a Brake Bias Valve.
3. Purchase some new tyres for the alloys ive treat myself too
4. buy a * Rev Guage, Oil Preasure, Water Temp Guage
5. Paint & Stickers
unfortunatley i will miss the meeting after metal mania ( the 1st snr mini meeting ) due to my dad beeing at work
but will make it for the next ...
ill also be at practise day with abit of loook
just got a race engine to build now so no doubt pictures of that build will be posted in this thread along with repairs e.t.c to the car
Roll on the 2010 season
here are some pictures of the new alloys ... and just look how wide they are compared to the ones currentley on the mini

Re: #464 :P
Why is the mini p**s oil out all over the garage floor.....concentrate on the things that matter not the "SPANGLY RIMS"... ALTHOUGH I AM COVETING THE MINILIGHT WHEELS... MY NEXT PUCHASE!
Re: #464 :P
thats old oil lordy .. can tell your vision has perished with your age :L as the oil clearly doesnt look fresh ...
main objective this season is to get it handling properly and behind the scenes build a decent engine
got some more updates today attention to detail is the key
more pictures to come later on

Re: #464 :P
Hey Josh whats with the age'st jibes , ok i'll let yer have the old oil thing and I can see that you've got the Krypton factor shocks..fully adjustable damping .. here is a way of stealing the length of the straight .....you say attention to detail, look at the discs can you see the edge that's rusty and unused this can be machined off the disc about 1/8"-1/4" can be machined off the diam.then have the discs scimmed and cross drilled, this will save some of the un-sprung weight ... helping with 0-60 times braking and cornering...you might think this is to much work but this might make you a 1/10 sec per corner difference x 4 per lap x 12 laps in a race thats 4.8 seconds per race thats almost the length of the straight-away at 50 mph....!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks are not needed, all part of "Team Lordy" racing secrets!
Re: #464 :P
yea i guess thats helpfull lordy, i was only joking ... in a good mood at the moment with seeing the mini making good progress and well 14th of march not beeing far off .. im getting to the stage of sitting in the car and pretending im racing again haha.
thanks may not be needed .. but credit where credit is due .. thats why your a " Stock Car Driver " & im only a " Snr Ministox Driver " ahahah
well here is a few more pictures to finish off the day

Re: #464 :P
slicks on ya steel rims would have been much more usefull and cheaper than bog tyres on shiney allys..
Re: #464 :P
Josh you can't be serious..as ace says just put some slicks on, there's no way you can compete on road tyres when everyone's on racing rubber you nit wit
Re: #464 :P
i would have baught some slicks, but at the moment funds are tight due to needing a new car e.t.c
but these tyres will do me for a turn .. im missing the 1st meeting for snrs due to dad beeing at work, so who knows i may have a set of slicks by then

all four alloys on, nearly finished now
1. Roof Fin
2. Name Visor ( across front windscreen)
3. alloy plate to cover back
4. Rev Guage, Oil Preasure Guage & Water Temp Guage
