475 Blog
I have decided to have my own page purely for stock car 475, it is to be a serious thread with no tom foolery. Its is going to be a riviting factual read and informative to my audience and colossal fan base.
Day 1
Had sticking throttle issues at weekend and nearly poo pood myself in practice when heading towards the wall with a wide open throttle, fortunatley i stopped just in time but sat out the rest of the meeting after several attempts at a repair.
Tommorow I will be ordering the correct linkage for my carbs.
Sometime this week I will write about my intentions of skimming my brake discs or something equally as gripping

Re: 475 Blog
this topic is boring all ready.
How about you tell us:
what milk you bought today? was it skimmed, semi or whole? how much was it?
Did you have to stop for fuel on your way to work to day, if so did you buy the milk at the same time?
e.t.c

Re: 475 Blog
Dear Mr titchmarsh
Today I have purchased a carton of long life semi skimmed for work and a large plastic bottle of whole milk for home. I picked these up from Tesco on two separate occasions once on my way to work and once on my way home. I didn't need to stop for fuel today as I still had enough from the £30 I put in yesterday morning

Not only the fact it wouldnt return where admittably the bungee would of helped, you couldnt press the frickin pedal down properly either without a bionic leg as the pull on the cables was all to c**k after pi33ing around with it all morning.
Anyway day 2:
I am just having a cup of tea and a s**t bag of crisps while contemplating my next move and hoping for my new linkage to arrive

hooray the new linkage has arrived only my car isnt here, so i cant fit it as yet. I will post some detailed pictures sometime this week of me threading the throttle cables through the eyelets before nipping them up.

Re: 475 Blog
Just pulled the sump off and i am lucky lucky, Need a set of big ends but have just caught it in time before it touched the crank. So my winter rebuild is being done early. Should be ok and back to normal for the next meeting

Stav and Tommy pulled your sump off on Saturday night in the Cotty
They decreed your big ends werent that big atall, and your crank was decidedly small

Re: 475 Blog
and fooooooooookin hell it hurt, needed to apply copious amounts of sudocrem to my ass hole to help the burn subside and was honoured to have my under crackers flying on the back of tommys stocker. stav was thinking about flying your torn under garments to the back of his stocker but he decided it would have a parachute type affect due to there size and therefore decided against it
