I know nothing, and blissfully unaware of the makings of an engine.

Jay Kellet however is probably the best V8 engine builder in the North, and really knows his stuff. If Jay advanced the timing it was to get over the problem on sunday.

And if i was to buy a bigger engine, it would be Jay i ask to rebuild it.

Am sure Jay did the right stuff on the day - the engine sounder crisper after he advanced it. I like to run with rather more advance than the factory intended too it is just a fine line between improving the response and inducing pinking. Don't want anyone to think I was doubting Jay's skills, his reputation goes before him!
