Onslow's Senior Mini Build

Passenger door can but driver's door is a no no - have checked the rules, thanks for the advice though

In Ministox neither can but Senior's they allow for lardy sods like me!

i had to build my drivers door up but i can cut the passenger one down.

That's why your nose hangs out the passenger side I knew there would be a logical reason - many thanks for clearing that up

Well after much messing about the gearbox is finally finished with all new gaskets, seals and the like and a shiny new centre oil pick up pipe to prevent oil starvation during hard cornering - photo soon. Crank regrind and new bearings next followed by cam and oil pump. Bodywork tonight putting right some of the crappy welding and generally tidying things up - whey hey roll on 2010!

Last night was spent with Joey down at R&B sorting out some of the dodgy welds and generally getting some localised damage repaired. Just the passenger side to cut down and some repairs to the tinware at the front. Not a lot of fun towing it down Ashfield Road last night on the end of a rope in the rain with no lights!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Off to have the crank reground next and to buy some nice new Vandervell bearings (don't like Glacier ones in high output applications). Then new cam and Metro Turbo oil pump - we're getting there!

All rebuilt with new seals and gaskets and a centre oil pickup pipe - just awaits a shiny coat of green engine paint now!

Hopefully the centre oil pickup pipe should prevent oil starvation!

Come on guys, i know you are from Great Harwoood, but be fair, Onslow is trying to portray the building of a senior mini. Now i know this currently hasnt produced any shots of banjo playing half wits, or a picture of his sister in her skimps, but not everyone enjoys hog hunting, or mounting moon shine stills in your grannys back ouside toilet.

dont take anythin i say serious kids, i sometimes say things, when im bored, just to cause an argument.. but how long can it take to bolt a foooookin mini engine (worst engineering design ever) together.. lol

It's not beige its "Manilla gold" and it's a very interesting car .... I hope that this info on the ford makes for interesting reading....
