And after breaking the engine tie bar on Janner's Mini I've drilled and retapped the block to take larger bolts for my tie bar, let's hope I don't break this one!

Well it's coming along well just can't wait to get out there. And before anyone asks the rear wheels with skinny tyres are a temporary fitment so I can move the car until my new wheel studs arrive!

It might be OK at the engine end, but it'll break straight off your bamboo bulkhead

Indeed I have, mounted on an MG Metro inlet manifold which is one of the best inlet manifolds you can get as it flows 145 cubic feet per minute. I have ordered a cotton gauze filter (as per K & N) and will optimise the needle on the rolling road.

I simply cannot believe this is still happening!!!

Once I've had the head machined l can refit it and then drop the engine back in and prepare for start up. End of January hopefully.

Greenstuff brake pads and new brake shoes now ordered - should have working brakes in the next couple of days - the fun continues!

Come on Onslow ... anything you buy for your race car you should tell them what it's for how often you race and that it's on a trailer from A to B and that loads of people see it out and about! Ask for some stickers and always ask for some discount .... that goes for all you lads racing .... everyone want's cheep advertizing . I think you have enough pages on here to publish a book and sell for 2.99 in all good book stores. ok only joking about the book thing!

Pipes all plumbed in for oil stat (crucial when using an oil cooler to ensure optimum oil temperature) and yes I know the jubilee clips are missing, I'll buy those tomorrow.

Well time to get in the workshop and finish sorting the brakes. Bring it on!

Well a busy day had, just going to order some solid engine mounts to replace the knackered original ones the car came with
