One hell of a frustrating afternoon. Have a really good brake pedal now and some strong front brakes but the fluid flow through the bias valve to the rears is rubbish and I can't get any rear brakes at all. Time for a beer and a think!

There is a simple answer. You need 2 master cylinders and 2 bias valves. One cylinder fir the front and one for back linked with a common pedal. Then you wind the valves to suit each brake. If you want to be mega tricky have a third valve between the front brakes to alter left and right brake pressure.

Two days of chaos, had big rant and threw the existing rear suspension in the bin. Had clearance problems and basically it was pants. All rebuilt now with totally different parts thanks to Craig at Mini Technique who fabricated some trick shocker mountings. Still got ride height issues but at least all the clearances and offsets are right. Thanks to Josh Vickers for the Spax shockers it might actually handle now!
