Bennys Mini Build
Okey Dokey
In the spirit it is intended, i will post my doings on the Mini as the Build progresses.
Today
Took the side panels off and will be replacing with new tomorrow
Went in the house and made a cup of tea.....played with the dog
Sat on the bonnet and drank my tea. (Tetleys of course)
Got the wet and dry out i had purchased previously, and decided to find something to get some water.
Bucket found and filled it at the sink.
Had a go at wet and drying the back of the mini......got bored.
Went in the house and made a cup of tea.
Bev came home, so went in the house and watched some Antiques programme.
Will it be ready for practise day........bloody right it will be

Re: Bennys Mini Build
In the spirit of things can we please have some pictures of the bucket! ..... and you say it "WON'T" be yellow and black ...... so what's the new colour scheme?
Re: Bennys Mini Build
You never mentioned the "RIBBED" side of the bucket .... as we all know for that extra pleasure.....!

Funny this.........you arent the only one to use the word Handsome this week when talking about me. So did all your wives
Re: Bennys Mini Build
How much did you pay for the bucket? I buy orange ones for my Donkeys but remove the handles for safety reasons. If ever you break the wooden handle I have six spare ones you could have.

Re: Bennys Mini Build
A Metro rad is a good option with the associated electric fan assembly. That's what I will be using, it is quite a wide rad but not too tall.

Re: Bennys Mini Build
A mini rad isn't a bad option cos its already in the car, does the job and means you can race this season cos you won't have to spend weeks on end painting the cowling. Easy motoring brought to you by me

Re: Bennys Mini Build
Whats a Rad ???
Dont becoming all clever with technical stuff you lot.
Cheers for the offer of the handles Donkey
Two new side panels being manufactured as we speak, and will be lovingly fitted to Mini tonight.
Question
Should i use a soft brush to sweep the floor of the cab or a hard brush.

Re: Bennys Mini Build
Just let all the crap store up on the floor. It tends to fall out on the motorway on the way to the track. Another bit of easy motoring brought to you from me
