A stock car in the making

Sorry not posted any pix for a while as we've been busy trying to earn a crust, so little progress on the Stock Car. back on it again today..........more pix soon

Dummy build now completed, We had to lengthen both lower arms as the we had way to much negative camber but we shall modify our jigs so when I have broke these ones we can make arms the correct length. Carbs are on, steering column routing has been sorted out. All that really has to be made now apart from the bodywork are brackets for the fuel tank and oil cooler also to plate under the seat to protect my ass from the prop. All going well and will require our 2 tea bitches Benny and Ell's on saturday morning for paint touch ups and graphics

Whats this Tea bitch rubbish........As other interested parties have started popping into the garage, then i have surely raised up the chain of command

Cheers dad I just realised that and come back on to change it but you had already beat me to it lol

Been hard at it again today sorting out the pedals and what they need to be doing. All brake pipes are now run and connected up and have replaced all the wheel studs as a few were a little suspect so I have put some longer ones in to allow for some better wheels for next year. The bodywork has been started also tonight with benny and sean the janner ginger biscuit getting stuck in. It looks like benny is getting a promotion from brew bitch to floor sweeper after today whilst janner sean gets apprentice brew bitch with Ell's moving up to graphics and design co-ordinator. Anyway a few pics from today.

I'm starting to think that there may be a faint chance for you lads to race sunday......would be nice to know the engine is making a noise and it gets second gear......good luck lads.

Fran's helpful input: Dear Mr Dawson, I have been looking through these photos and finding them VERY interesting. However I would like to point out one problem with the stock car...it has a flat rear left.
