well, after a good return, the 2nd meeting after a few tweaks showed some signs of improvement,

engine is out, after hearing the bottom end rattle in the final & could feel the engine slowly loosing power i pulled off,
seems ill have to replace the bearings in the bottom end and make a few more tweaks so the revs are up & on the cam alot earlier

no idea when my next meeting is as the next meeting my dad will be too hungover due to my uncles wedding, and the meeting after
he will be sunning it up in Dubai the looky sod.

you dont need a towing licence providing your gross trailer weight doesent exceed the unladen weight of the towing vehicle and the whole lot combined doesent exceed 3.5t

no idea how much the trailor weight is .. i think the mini is around 730kg & i think landrover discoverys weight is 2500kg

i doubt the land rover is that heavy. thats prob the max vehicle weight on chassis plate. be more like 1900kg

no got it skimmed as the head gasket went scouse, i couldnt afford porting, polishing .. bigger valves e.t.c Very Happy

Yeah because everyones engines are definatley in the rules, there's more chance of barty runnin a standard pinto than there is of all them mini engines being legal

And which one would that b? I know of quite a few that arnt legal and wats bin done to them, but the commitee said st the mini meetin that u can basically do wat u want cos they aint goin to check

Well like I said, I know one that is deffo legal and there's only andy Yeats that's faster. They are all pretty much the same speed now so there's not a problem as far as I can see. Your the only one complaining and your racing stock cars?!?

just because cylinder heads were removed doesnt meen there legal, bottom ends could have had some work but they wouldnt check that.

i just cannot wait to get back racing, should be a intresting day to see how my enigne goes Rolling Eyes

having calmed down a bit i know what you mean, but at least there checking something now. In my opinion they checked the wrong cars yesterday but at least no one can say mine is illegal.
