Well the Aldon 100AR full race dizzy has been fully overhauled and installed, so just got to plumb in the fuel lines to the carb, connect up the rad and oil cooler pipes and we are ready for the first start up - happy days!

Re: Onslow's Senior Mini Build

Re: Onslow's Senior Mini Build
I agree that bracing is certainly important but utilising solid engine mounts turns the engine into part of the car's structure rather than something suspended within it. I like this idea because it improves the torsional rigidity of the front end and offers handling benefits too

Re: Onslow's Senior Mini Build
As you all now know I have taken the plunge and decided to race in 2010 in "OAP minis". In order to achieve this dream????? I have bought Dan Davies old Ministox which I am going to build into a Senior mini for the 2010 season. This thread will be a record with pictures - yawn....... of my ongoing progress. If any of you guys suffer with insomnia then read this thread before bedtime - it'll be the perfect cure!!!!!!! ( over two years)
